The Practice Nurses are available by appointment during normal working hours for: health advice and disease prevention, blood tests, ear syringing, dressings and wound care, cervical smear tests, dietary and weight advice, advice about travel and vaccinations, asthma care and, advice on teenage issues.
The Health Care Assistant is available by appointment during normal working hours for blood tests, blood pressure, dietary and weight advice, smoking cessation, wound care and new patient health checks.

There is a Midwife attached to Morrab Surgery. She provides care to women before, during and after their pregnancy. There is a Midwife on call 24 hours a day and she can be contacted by telephoning Bellair Clinic on 01736 575506 during office hours or on 0800 525900 at other times. Our midwife holds weekly Antenatal Clinics at the Surgery where care is shared with the patient's GP
District Nurses and Community Matron are employed by the Cornwall Community Healthcare Trust, working closely with General Practitioners and Social Services, caring for patients in their homes. Work involves offering advice and supplying equipment, eg. commodes, special beds and mattresses, as well as care of medical conditions, care of the elderly and post-operative care on returning home.
The Surgery could not function without extensive help from many other people - the Practice Manager and his Assistant, Secretaries, Receptionists and Cleaning Staff
